I’ve recently become a patron of INK. INK is a charity that develops, nurtures and produces the best new short scripts for stage, film and radio from writers with an East Anglian connection. INK was born in 2015 at the Halesworth Cut Theatre in Suffolk, and has been growing ever since.
I’m delighted to be a patron of INK. East Anglia has always been a hotbed for writers, and INK is continuing in that great tradition. I look forward to supporting this festival as it grows and supports a new generation of playwrights and script writers.
The next INK festival is 6-8 April. I’ll be performing some brand new material from my forthcoming poetry stage show Poet Laureate. I’ve also curated some poetry for the festival – check out the full programme here.
