Fresh from his century of Twitter gigs “the bard of lockdown” (Telegraph) stomps the boards once more in a special one-off show. Expect some wild experiments in form, inventive invective, and fruity flashes of genius.
Wright is a spit-and-sawdust wordsmith and a raconteur at the top of his game. He’s won a Fringe First for playwrighting, a Stage Award for acting, and has toured with the likes of John Cooper Clarke and The Libertines. Book early!
“His performances rumble with rage, passion and humour. They are also peppered with brilliantly smart observations. You will leave his show brimming with energy, heart pounding and brain whirring.” Guardian
“Fierce, wistful, romantic and witty by turns, this is a sensational hour of poetry.” ★★★★★ The Stage
“Cool poems, man” Patti Smith
Interlude programme is run by Norwich Playhouse. This show is produced by Norwich Arts Centre.
